Seamus McKale

Seamus McKale

My name’s Seamus. I live in Vancouver, Canada, in the same province where I was born. As a writer, my specialty is taking complex or dry subject material and making it easy to understand for people who may not consider themselves experts on the subject at hand. Professionally, I’m a full-time content writer for Square One, an online home insurance provider. On the side, I write articles, case studies, and other content on myriad subjects. My professional specialties include real estate, home maintenance, and (of course) insurance. On a more personal level, I’m interested in food & cooking, hiking & camping, and travel. I love learning about these subjects (and more) and sharing my knowledge through writing.

I have been writing as a freelancer for over a decade now, starting out as an ambitious sports writer before moving into other areas. I pride myself on my versatility, my ability to take on any topic and speak from a place of knowledge and authority. I’ve helped bring websites like Fairway Divorce and Mortgage Super Brokers from the beginning stages to ranking on the top page of Google search results for their primary keywords, and can’t wait to work with new clients!

Danielle Recco

Danielle Recco

My name is Danielle, and I am a current sophomore at Vassar College, majoring in Geography and minoring in Biology. I’ve always been passionate about writing since a very young age. I would write mini-stories about anything and everything!

A few aspects separate me from other writers, mainly that I attend a liberal arts college and that I major in something so interdisciplinary. At Vassar, I have taken numerous courses in political science, geography, earth science, and biology – I have a wide breadth of knowledge that allows me to write and edit on a multitude of subject areas. I have been published in the Albany Times Union. I am familiar with APA, MLA, and Chicago citation styles.

A fun fact about me is that one of my passions is fitness. I recently fell in love with strength training, and I was able to lose over 30 lbs. I share my journey and advice on fitness on Medium. https://medium.com/@daniellerecco

Dawn Colclasure

Dawn Colclasure

My name is Dawn Colclasure, and I am a “writer of all trades.” I have written newspaper articles, short stories published in magazines and anthologies, nonfiction books, novels, and poetry. I have worked as a freelance writer in the past, as well as an editor for a publishing company. My writing career began at a young age, and I didn’t take the leap to be a working writer until my late teens. I wrote for the teen page for my local newspaper, then jumped to a national platform, writing for a national newspaper called SIGNews, which was for the Deaf/HOH community.

As a Deaf writer, this was meaningful and rewarding work. I enjoyed writing about issues affecting the Deaf/HOH community and making a difference for this group. Because of personal experience, I have also written about the paranormal. As a recovering alcoholic, I have also delved into writing about sobriety.

As a parent, I’ve written about parenting as well as motherhood. I’m a burn survivor as well, so I have also written about burn care. I’ve been a ghostwriter for a few clients, and my biggest accomplishment in that arena was writing several ebooks for one particular client. I still ghostwrite and do occasional editing. After over twenty years as a writer, I feel I can bring quality content to clients looking for good writing and dependable service. Follow me on Twitter at @dawncolclasure!
