Help Topics for Brands & Agencies
Usability has been a top priority for us right from the get-go, and based on feedback from both brands and agencies; it looks like we’ve hit the mark. But as with any new platform, there’s always a learning curve. To make it easier for customers to get the most out of the nDash platform, we’ve launched a series of help topics that cover everything from account creation and payment methods to pitches and profiles.

Requesting Profile Completion
The key to attracting top talent to the nDash platform rests with your group/company profile. The more polished it looks, the more serious writers will take your brand. For brands who need help putting their best foot forward, we’ll step in and take the first pass at updating the key fields (links, logos, basic info), flagging potential writers, and making sure you’re ready to move forward.
(Note: New brands can request this service via a platform module, but if you’ve been around a while and want us to take a pass, reach out and let us know).
Updated Counter Offer Feature
We’ve made it much easier for brands to negotiate rates for a given assignment with potential freelance writers. The updated functionality is now available on pitches, direct requests, and open assignments.
Streamlining In-Progress Assignments
The shopping cart process for converting pitches into assignments received a complete overhaul. Instead of adding items to a shopping cart, brands can now simply click a “Start Assignment” button, and the writer will begin working.
Upcoming Pricing Change
Later this month, both brands and writers could potentially see some changes in pricing. We found an error under certain circumstances in which the algorithm was incorrectly calculating end user amounts. With this update, the algorithm correctly reflects what’s listed under the current pricing plans. This will remain unchanged. Over the next few weeks, a member of our customer success team will reach out to go over how these changes will affect you specifically (if you have assignments in progress).
Pre-Fund an Account
One of the most requested features we’ve received in the past few weeks has been the ability to pre-fund your nDash account for easier and more accurate budget management. As the fiscal year comes to a close, many brands are also looking for ways to stash their “use it or lose it” budgets from 2017 for future content.
